‘Unexpected’: Arrested AGAIN- Rilah Ferrer’s Ex Anthony Behind Bars
Former Unexpected star Rilah Ferrer’s ex Anthony Vanelli has been arrested once again. He was last arrested back in November 2021 and now he is back behind bars. So, what is he being charged with now? Read on to find out the details.
Unexpected Introduces Rilah Ferrer And Anthony Vanelli
Rilah and Anthony had been together since middle school. So it was really rough when her family decided to move and separate the two. At the same time, they discovered that they were expecting a baby. Rilah was just seventeen while Anthony was eighteen which made them perfect for Season 3 of the hit TLC reality series. Anthony was really excited about becoming a father and started building things for their baby. Then it all flipped and he questioned if the baby was actually his. Ultimately, it was discovered he was the father and they worked on becoming a family from that point on.
Unfortunately, the couple’s happiness started to fade when Anthony faced domestic violence charges after Rilah had bruises on her face in 2019. His mother posted the bail but that was just the beginning of a downward spiral. In early 2021, Anthony was arrested for stealing his grandmother’s car and shooting at his ex-stepfather’s home. The November 2021 charge was again for domestic violence between him and a male family member. So, what did Anthony do this time?
In Trouble Once Again
The current season of Unexpected is not without its own drama. Now, a past cast member is coming back to haunt the franchise with Anthony getting arrested again. According to Starcasm, was arrested on February 16th when he tampered with his ankle monitor. Yet he did not stop there. He then proceeded to run from an officer after being caught tampering. Police arrived at his grandmother’s home where he has been living. The lights went out and several knocks on the doors went unanswered. When Anthony finally appeared, he claimed he was going to step out for a second and that was when he fled.
He has now been charged with a third-degree felony for tampering with the monitor. Furthermore, he is facing misdemeanors for trespassing and resisting arrest. As of now, he is still behind bars and he is scheduled to attend court on July 8th. His lawyer has asked for a competency examination to check his mental status. Aside from this, Anthony is still facing some previous charges so it is not currently looking that great for him.
