‘The Masked Singer’ Winner Brags ‘DWTS’ Mirrorball Trophy At Home Too?
The Masked Singer’s seventh season winner was revealed last night. Though not all fans were thrilled, the show has been renewed for two more seasons. Therefore, two more winners will be crowned and hopefully, it will put a smile on the viewers’ faces. As for the current winner, do they also have ties to the DWTS Mirrorball trophy?
Crowning The Masked Singer For The Seventh Time
For those faithful to the series, the winner was somewhat of a disappointment. It came down to the Firefly, the Ringmaster, and The Prince. The Prince was the first one to be eliminated for the night. When the mask came off, it was actually performer and actor Cheyenne Jackson. He currently stars on Call Me Kat but has been known for Disney’s Descendants. Jackson has also been a staple on many Ryan Murphy shows. It ultimately came down to the Ringmaster and Firefly. In the end, the Firefly took home the win with Hayley Orrantia coming in second.
The Firefly turned out to be Kanye West’s protege Teyana Taylor. Though it was agreed she had a great voice, fans did not appreciate her attitude. She walked off of the stage the first week after landing in the bottom two. This has stuck with her all along yet somehow, she prevailed. Now she is discussing the fact that she is bringing home this trophy but it won’t be alone. Where does the DWTS Mirrorball fit into the equation? Was she on a season everyone may have missed? Here is the scoop.
Bragging On The Mirrorball?
With Teyana winning The Masked Singer, she is just adding to the trophy collection. Yes, she and her husband Iman Shumpert are no strangers to winning. According to The U.S. Sun, he is a pro basketball player who competed on Season 30 of DWTS. Along with his partner Daniella Karagach, he had to consistently prove to the judges that he had what it took to be in the competition. It took some time but by the end, he had gained their respect with his scores consistently going up. In the end, Iman and Daniella were the ones to take home the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
Now, the house will be even more blinged out with the two winning trophies. There is no doubt both Teyana and Iman worked their tails off to get to the very end and earned their spots.
