‘Temptation Island’: Edgar De Santiago Lies To Gillian Lieberman?

On the latest episode of Temptation Island, did Edgar De Santiago lie to Gillian Lieberman? The four couples finally reunite during the final bonfire. Season 4 will wrap up next week with the last two couples plus a reunion special.

First up were Edgar and Gillian. The young couple joined the show to work out their relationship. Gillian thought that Edgar was too clingy. She also felt that she should explore her early ’20s more since they’ve been together for 3 years. However, she seemed unsure about going through with this experiment.

Gillian revealed that Edgar cheated on her before. During her time on Temptation Island, she grew close to Tommy Soltis. When Edgar witnessed their close moments during the bonfires, he decided to pursue things with Marissa Rodriguez.

Edgar and Gillian’s journey comes to an end

Both Edgar and Gillian found someone that they would like to spend their lives with. But, there was a surprise twist as there always is on Temptation Island. Wednesday’s episode showed two of the couples reuniting as they figure out whether to leave with their significant other or with a single they met.

Before the Temptation Island bonfire, Gillian said goodbye to Tommy. She had a feeling it was the last time they were going to see each other. Tommy reassured her, “It’s not a ‘goodbye,’ it’s a ‘see ya later.'” Even though he wasn’t interested in a long-distance relationship, he still wanted them to keep in touch.

On the other side of the island, Edgar says goodbye to Marissa. He assured her that he loves her and she changed him for the better. Marissa says she doesn’t regret what they did before parting ways. Edgar says that his time on Temptation Island changed him for the better.

Gillian and Edgar finally met to share their feelings. They both revealed that they were hurt when they saw one another with someone else. Edgar accused Gillian of sleeping with Tommy. He said it was the reason why he hooked up with Marissa.

Temptation Island bombshell: Did Edgar lie to Gillian?

Edgar feels that Gillian changed. He claims the one he saw during the bonfire wasn’t the one he knew. Edgar feels that Gillian should’ve just broken up with him instead of going to Temptation Island. He apologized to his girlfriend for cheating on her and breaking her trust.

Edgar then claims that Gillian lied to him nine months after he cheated. He doesn’t believe she really loved him. After their conversation, Gillian and Edgar agreed to go their separate ways. Edgar said he should explore things on his own.

But there was a twist. Edgar was conflicted with his feelings. He told Temptation Island Mark. L. Walberg that he feels he should leave with Marissa instead. This comes just moments before he told Gillian he was leaving on his own.

“I do feel conflict in my heart because I just saw Gillian, but I also know that I’m letting go of Gillian,” he told Marissa, who later joined him. “I want to continue to get to know you, but I have to take things as slow as possible. I would like to leave the island with you.”
