For many people, 2020 was a year of self-reflection due to isolation during the coronavirus pandemic. Sister Wives star Gwendlyn Brown took the opportunity to come out as bisexual. She also spoke up in support of the Black Lives Matter movement that swept the nation that same year.
The daughter of Kody and Christine joins sister Mariah Brown as part of the LGBTQ+ community. Mariah is Kody’s daughter with first wife Meri Brown.
Gwendlyn recently doubled down on her affiliation with the community by posting on her Instagram Stories a reminder that Pride month is coming soon.
Kody & Christine’s daughter has unusual health remedy
The Sister Wives alum also shared that she was feeling under the weather. She further shared her very unusual remedy. According to Gwendlyn, she ate “three bowls of cereal” that morning to combat her illness.
However, her unique remedy didn’t do the trick. Her next course of action was to take flu medicine. She revealed that she’s also on antidepressants, so she wasn’t sure how all the medicine would interact.
Luckily, it sounds like she had someone there to nurse her back to health.
Gwendlyn Brown’s girlfriend dotes on her
After coming out, Gwendlyn Brown has stoked rumors that she has a girlfriend. She regularly has flirty social media interactions with Angela Chappell. In fact, one such interaction sparked engagement rumors.
While Gwendlyn hadn’t previously confirmed the status of her relationship, she may have just gone Instagram official with her latest post.
In an update to her IG Stories, Gwendlyn shared that the cold medicine only made her worse. But she assured fans she was in good hands.
“My girlfriend gave me Vicks vapor rub,” she wrote. “Now she’s in the process of making me soup,” Gwendlyn added.
Does she have COVID?
From the get-go, Gwendlyn Brown referred to her illness as a cold or the flu. However, initial COVID symptoms resemble those of the flu. Perhaps out of an abundance of caution, the Sister Wives star took a COVID test to be sure.
She updated fans that she was negative for COVID and she only has a cold.
