Where Were Kourtney Kardashian’s Kids When She Got Married?
Kourtney Kardashian is a newlywed as of last night. It appeared to have been a very small ceremony with just a few people in attendance. Yet, where were her three children with Scott Disick when this all went down?
Kourtney Kardashian’s Bond With Her Babies
When Travis Barker proposed in October of 2021, it was a family affair. Prior to taking the big step, he asked her mother, Kris Jenner’s permission. He even went so far as to go to her father, Robert Kardashian’s grave for permission. When it came to the actual proposal, Travis ensured that all of the most important people in Kourt’s life were there. Though he took her down to the beach, she had no idea what awaited her in their suite. Her whole family, including his two children and stepdaughter, were waiting to surprise and cheers them. Yet, three people were visibly missing.
Kourtney’s children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, who she shares with ex Scott Disick were noticeably missing. Kris felt that they were too young to be there for this moment. So, why were Travis’ kids allowed to participate? She felt that because they were all in their teens and above, they could truly understand what was going on. After the proposal, Kourt snuck to another room to call her daughter who was really hurt. Even her son Mason wanted to understand it but had Penelope telling him to hang up. She admitted this was one area where her mom dropped the ball. Scott later claimed they were so hurt that they wondered if they would even be invited to the wedding. So, where were they?
Where Were The Kids?
The wedding between Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker was lowkey and took place in Santa Barbara. It is unknown who was actually in attendance aside from Kourt’s grandma, MJ, and Trav’s dad. The cause of this could be that they are planning a lavish wedding in Italy down the line. Most likely, the duo just wanted to get the legal part of it over with. As for where Kourtney’s three children were during the ceremony, The Hollywood Life has the details. They were actually with their father, Scott.
Via his Instagram stories, Scott shared pics of their kids enjoying a pool day. They were playing around and seemingly unaware of the events that were occurring throughout the day to the night. This was not the first time Kourt and Trav got married without the kids in tow. They had a fake wedding in Las Vegas last month. However, no one knew it was not legal until a few days later when it was revealed there was proper paperwork. They claimed it was for fun and practice. As to who will be invited is anybody’s guess.
