Mama June’s Ex Sugar Bear Biopsy Back – Surgery Soon?
Mama June’s ex-partner Sugar Bear was trying to change his life. Unfortunately, he received some devastating news in the process. Will Honey Boo Boo’s father be undergoing surgery in the very near future?
Sugar Bear’s Road To Fame And Happiness
Viewers became familiar with Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson on the hit reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. He was engaged to Mama June Shannon. Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was also his baby girl with June and he helped raise her other older daughters from previous relationships. They had an interesting dynamic as he seemingly accepted her as she was. At the end of the series’ four-season run, it was clear there was trouble in paradise. Instead of completely calling it quits, the couple went on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. Finally, it was revealed that Sugar Bear had been unfaithful to June with both men and women. The relationship was irretrievably broken and they parted ways.
He rebounded with Jennifer Lamb and the two got married on Mama June’s spinoff in 2017. Though he always liked bigger women, she went on to lose a lot of weight. She even tried to help him get custody of Alana when June was going through hard times. Sadly, after five years together, he announced that marriage was over, as well. Fans were in complete support of him cutting ties with Jennifer. Soon after, he was seen filming in a plastic surgeon’s office but no one knew why. They could only speculate that he was revamping his whole physical image. Unfortunately, that came with a shock no one was prepared for.
Fighting For His Life?
Sugar Bear had decided he was going to get a full-body makeover, much like Mama June had done. This would include a hair transplant, Botox, filler, lipo, and a tummy tuck. More so, he was going to be getting a new set of teeth. However, that part would have to be put on hold when his dentist found multiple white spots on his gums. This is an indication of gum cancer so Sugar Bear was taking the appropriate next steps. According to TMZ, his biopsy results have come back. Fortunately, there is no cancer but the tumor will have to be removed.
The benign tumor was in his salivary gland his doctor revealed and the removal is more of a precautionary measure as it could turn cancerous. He was known to be a chewing tobacco user for a long time so this could have been contributing factor. As of now, all of his other procedures are back on, minus the teeth.
