Hallmark’s ‘Color My World With Love’: All The Details

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has an upcoming new Summer Nights drama called Color My World With Love. This is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, as it stars leads, Lily D. Moore (Never Have I Ever, Dangerous Moms) and David Desanctis (Where Hope Grows) with Down syndrome.

Color My World With Love also stars Erica Durance (North To Home, Girl in The Shed: The Kidnapping Of Abby Hernandez), Benjamin Ayres (Cranberry Christmas, Suits), Karen Kruper (Chesapeake Shores, Christmas She Wrote), Bobby Love (Text, I Love You), Sarah Surh (Just One Kiss, Romance To The Rescue), Yoshié Bancroft (Emily Owens M.D., Superman & Lois), Preston Vanderslice (Mystery 101, Blonde Ambition), Benjamin Wilkinson (Wash Yo Hands!, Dr. Gangrene’s Cinetarium), Maggie Sullivun (To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Picture Perfect Mysteries), Stephen Jefferys (Donovan’s Echo, Tomorrow’s Memoir), Michael Patrick Denis (Raise A Glass To Love, Eight Gifts Of Hanukkah), Cameron Park (The Christmas House, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart), Sheila Tyson (Riverdale, Christmas Sail), Emma Love (Milk), Carri Toivanen (Fringe, Thunderbird), Malaika Jackson (A Christmas Proposal, Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace), Gronk the pug, and Tiana Renee Kirkegaard.

Pamela Wallace (Witness, At Home In Mitford), Charlie Shahnaian (The Swap, Bullet), and Shari Simpson (The Swap, Sweet Sweet Summertime) wrote the script. Fan-favorite Aurora Teagarden, Just One Kiss actor Peter Benson (Sweet Carolina, Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone) is the director.

What Is Color My World With Love About?

According to the synopsis, Kendall (Moore) is a talented artist with Down syndrome. She paints in the Impressionist style. This is because this is how she sees her subjects.

Kendall is supported by her mother Emma (Durance), as well as her grandmother Bev (Kruper). With this support system, Kendall is a thriving individual. Emma has spent all 22 of Kendall’s years protecting her daughter.

However, things take a drastic turn when Kendall takes a cooking class a the local center for diverse learners. There, she meets Brad (DeSanctis). Their romance blooms instantly.

Emma is not so thrilled about the latest developments. She does not want Kendall to get a broken heart. Subsequently, she meets Nic (Ayres), Brad’s longtime friend.

Soon, Emma begins to accept that she prepared Kendall for her own life. Now, the doting mother is ready to accept her daughter’s growth and desire to live her own life.

Meanwhile, Emma also learns from Kendall to look for all the beauty in front of you, not what could happen. Perhaps even Emma can find love again?

When Can You Watch Hallmark’s Color My World With Love?

Color My World With Love premieres on Sunday, June 12, at 9 p.m., Eastern on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.  Encore showings include Wednesday, June 15, at 9 p.m., Sunday, June 19, at 7 p.m., and Thursday, June 23, at 9 p.m., all times Eastern.
