‘Below Deck Med’ Fans Relieved Over Season 7 Cast?

Someone accidentally leaked the Below Deck Med Season 7 cast. Fans already shared their thoughts about this latest news on social media. They’ve been asking for a major cast shakeup for the past two seasons. Season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean was the most controversial one with Hannah Ferrier’s firing.

Captain Sandy Yawn fired her for having an unregistered prescription for Valium and a CBD pen on board. She found out about it through bosun Malia White, who fans called a “snake.” Both Malia and Sandy claimed the decision had to do with safety and maritime law, and not because of their feud with Hannah.

Below Deck Med fans weren’t happy to see Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White in the following season. Producers had no other choice since they filmed Season 6 immediately while Season 5 still played out on television. During that time, viewers called for their firing.

They argued that both women made a mockery of mental health. The firing happened shortly after Malia got into an argument with Hannah about cabin arrangements. She wanted to bunk with her then-boyfriend Chef Tom Checketts but Hannah refused to share a bunk with Christine “Bugsy” Drake because they didn’t get along.

Malia remembered the night when she first saw a prescription for Valium in Hannah’s belongings. She helped Hannah recover from a panic attack at the wrong. She knew it was against the rules, so she turned her in. This led to Hannah’s firing and a massive outcry from Below Deck Med fans.

Below Deck Med Season 7 cast revealed

Malia and Sandy were featured in the Season 6 cast. They even butted heads with one another. Now, Below Deck Med fans are wondering if they will return for another season. On Friday, May 13, Starcasm shared the Season 7 cast photos on Instagram.

Captain Sandy Yawn will return with a whole new crew and two familiar faces. Courtney Veale returns this time as a deckhand alongside Mzi Dempers. Other deckhands include Storm and Jason. Raygan will take on the role of the bosun, previously filled by Malia.

Natasha is the new chief stew of the interior team, which includes Kyle and Natalya. The new chef on board is David. According to Starcasm’s Instagram post, the cast of Below Deck Med Season 7 was “reportedly leaked” on social media. Check it out for yourself here.

Fans are relieved Malia White is gone

Below Deck Med fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them are relieved that Malia is gone. Others are shocked to learn that Courtney is a deckhand now. She worked on the interior team on Season 6.

After receiving backlash over Hannah’s firing, Malia revealed that she wanted to take a break from the reality series. During her appearance on the Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, Malia said she’s stepping back from the franchise to focus on her yachting career away from the cameras. She also launched her own podcast titled Total Ship Show, which is about the actual yachting industry than the Bravo franchise.
