Did Carlin Bates Make It To San Diego For Lawson’s Wedding After ER Trips?
Bringing Up Bates fans may know that Carlin Bates has recently taken two trips to the emergency room after a couple of scary health “episodes.” This all happened shortly before her brother Lawson Bates’ wedding in San Diego. So, was she able to fly out there to support her brother, or did she have to cancel the trip due to her health issues?
As we reported earlier this week, Carlin spent part of Saturday, May 7 in the ER.
So far, Carlin Bates has been fairly vague about her medical situation. She claims that she’s been in and out of it, so she doesn’t exactly know what’s going on. However, Evan Stewart will have more details to share in their upcoming vlog.
Then, on Tuesday, May 10, when Carlin and Evan were staying with his parents before flying to the wedding, she ended up in the ER again. She said she had another episode and needed to have her hemoglobin levels checked before flying out. Fortunately, her levels went up by one point.
Evan and Carlin were planning to fly out on Wednesday, May 11 early in the morning. On Reddit, fans expressed their concerns for Carlin as it was unclear if they were going or if something else had happened with her health.

On her Instagram stories on Wednesday, Carlin posted a few snaps of her family at the airport. Sure enough, they went on the trip and made it to San Diego.
Below, you can see that they arrived at the airport at 4 AM CT. She also shared a photo of Layla, 2, checking out the planes and also one of her on the flight.
Once they landed in Los Angeles, they had to drive a couple of hours to San Diego.
So, despite Carlin Bates’ ongoing health issues, they made it to San Diego. Hopefully, she’s able to stay safe at her brother’s wedding. Fans are hoping that she will be able to take it easy and rest as much as possible between the festivities.

I think she was gonna go regardless. She wants to be there to support her brother. I would if I was in her shoes. I would not want to miss the wedding of a lifetime. I just she takes it easy while she is here in California. I live in the High Dessert. About 4 hrs from Vegas, Nevada. Congratulations to the new happy couple. My God bless you in every way
