Derick and Jill Dillard might be moving out of the state of Arkansas. They previously shared the news that they are moving, and now, more details about their future may have been confirmed. Keep reading to get all of the details about Jill and Derick’s next big step.
In case you missed the news, Jill and Derick recently announced to fans that they will be moving. They shared an Instagram post, as well as a blog post, last month and revealed that their home is on the market.
While sharing this update with fans, the couple also revealed that Derick has found a job. He recently passed the bar exam, so he’s ready to kick off his career.
All of these big changes come as the Dillards prepare to welcome baby boy number three to their crew in July. Now, it looks like Derick and Jill Dillard may not be staying in Arkansas.
Are Derick and Jill Dillard moving out of state?
On Wednesday, May 11, some new details about Jill and Derick’s future may have surfaced online. As you can see Derick is listed as an attorney at an Oklahoma address. This address isn’t residential, so it isn’t the exact place Jill and Derick may be moving to.
However, the address is for the Adair County District Courthouse in Stilwell, OK. So, it looks like the Dillards may be moving to Oklahoma for Derick’s job.
On Reddit, Duggar snarkers are talking about this information and talking about the couple’s upcoming move. While many people assumed Jill and Derick would remain in Arkansas, some aren’t surprised due to the short distance between the two states.
Keep in mind that this information has yet to be confirmed by the Dillards themselves. So, fans should wait and see what happens. But based on this information, it seems possible that the family will be leaving Arkansas. This would be a huge change because Jill Dillard grew up in Arkansas and has continued to live there up until this point.
Not only would this be a move away from the Duggars, but it would also separate Derick from his family. One Duggar snarker adds, “I’m shocked he would move away from his family.”
Hopefully, Jill and Derick will share an official update soon enough. For now, they may be finalizing all of their moving details.
