Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates is back in the emergency room after she experienced another “episode.” She was previously in the ER on Saturday, which she told fans about on Tuesday, May 10. So, what’s going on?
As we reported, Carlin found herself in the ER on Saturday after a health “episode.” She says they even had to call 911. She didn’t share too many details about the situation. Fortunately, she didn’t need to spend too much time at the hospital.
Now, just a few days later, Carlin is back in the ER.
Carlin Bates ends up back in the ER just days after her first visit.
Late on Tuesday, May 10, Carlin hopped on her Instagram stories to give fans another update on her health. She and her husband, Evan Stewart, are currently visiting his parents in Nashville. They are supposed to fly out of Nashville to head to San Diego, California for Lawson Bates and Tiffany Espensen’s wedding.
On her Instagram stories at 10:06 p.m. CT, Carlin Bates explained, “Bad news is it’s 10:06 and we’re headed to the ER because I had a small little episode today. Not as bad as over the weekend.”
She didn’t reveal what an “episode” was, however.
She said that some of her levels were low when she last went to the ER. On Friday, she had her six-week postpartum checkup and her hemoglobin was at a 12. By the time she was in the ER on Saturday, it had dropped to a 9.5. They wanted to have her hemoglobin levels checked out once again before she flies to San Diego.
When they arrived at the ER, there was a long wait. Fortunately, they didn’t end up having to wait more than a couple of hours to be seen.
Carlin Bates learned that her hemoglobin went up another point since Saturday, which is a good sign. As they left the ER around midnight, she said they were still planning to head to the wedding.
What’s going on?
Unfortunately, Carlin Bates has been pretty vague when describing her current health situation. On Tuesday, when she shared about the first trip to the ER, she revealed that Evan would be sharing more details in their vlog, which will likely come out this weekend. She said this is because she’s been in and out of it and he knows more about what’s going on.
So, all we know for now is that Carlin’s hemoglobin levels have been decreasing. After her most recent ER trip, they have increased slightly.
Here’s the snap she shared on Tuesday morning about her first ER trip.
Hopefully, Carlin Bates will get the answers and medical care she needs so she can feel better soon. We will continue to keep you up to date on the Bringing Up Bates family, as well as Carlin’s health status.
