Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya talk moving in
Michelle Young says the burning question she always gets from fans is when she and Nayte are going to finally move in together. So, she shared what they are thinking on the latest episode of Bachelor Happy Hour. Bachelor Nation had the scoop. Michelle and Nayte are not in a rush to move in together. They do not like living apart but there are things they are waiting for.
There are two big reasons Michelle and Nayte have not moved in together yet. One is they are still trying to nail down the location they want to live. The other is their jobs.
Michelle said, “Really, it’s just that we’re trying to figure out where we want to be and what location we want to be in. It’s just a constant, ongoing conversation about what next year is going to look like for me.”
She continued, “Am I going to be in the classroom or am I going to try to do something outside the classroom? And for him, he’s working remotely right now, but they may be going back into the office. So we’re taking both of our jobs into consideration, and once the school year is done, I’m going to have a better idea of where I’m going to be, then we’ll figure it out together.”
Nayte and Michelle have been going strong since they got engaged in Season 18 of The Bachelorette. They haven’t started wedding planning yet but fans are hopeful it will be soon.
During their conversation on Bachelor Happy Hour, they also discussed kids’ names for future use. Nayte dished that he has had some children’s names picked out since he was ten years old.
He said, “In Nigerian culture, Babatunde will be for the first-born son when the father’s father passes away. So God forbid my dad were to pass away, whoever in the family has the first-born son after that would be Babatunde.”
