Some of the issues are due to Jill and Derick not being properly compensated for their time on TLC’s Counting On. Jill even said that she had to seek legal action to recover some of the money. Jill has also talked about setting boundaries with her parents and not always inviting them to events.

In February, Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, revealed that they are expecting their third baby. The couple shared the exciting news with fans, revealing a July due date. A little while later, they revealed that the baby is a boy.
Fans noticed that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar never posted about Jill’s pregnancy on social media, though. They also didn’t share about the gender reveal.
Some fans might argue that Jim Bob and Michelle don’t use social media, which could explain why they didn’t post it. However, they have been posting plenty of other things on their Instagram stories.
Just recently, Jim Bob and Michelle congratulated their son, Jedidiah, and daughter-in-law, Katey, on their new baby.
Then, on Sunday, May 8, the Duggar parents congratulated John-David and Abbie on their second pregnancy.
So, it looks like Jim Bob and Michelle could have snubbed Jill intentionally. If they are posting about other pregnancies and births, it’s unclear why they wouldn’t post about Jill’s, too. It could be due to their ongoing conflict.
