Sherri Shepherd revealed that she’s praying for Wendy Williams after getting dissed. Wendy has been showing her face more than usual lately. After hiding from the Good Morning America cameras, she made a rare appearance at the Met Gala with her friend Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked. The two biggest names in pop culture had a wild time at an after-party.

Fans expressed their concern over the former TV host’s behavior. Sherri is feeling the same way. She is speaking out in a vague message on Instagram. This comes after Wendy said she won’t be watching Sherri’s new show, which will replace hers this coming fall.

Talking trash about Sherri Shepherd

It all started when Wendy Williams talked trash about Sherri Shepherd. During a live chat with rapper Fat Joe, she said she will not tune into Sherri’s new daytime talk show. Wendy already has a feeling that it’s not the kind of show she would watch.

“It’s not my thing,” Wendy Williams told Fat Joe.

That’s interesting considering Sherri Shepherd was one of the many celebrity guests who kept The Wendy Williams Show afloat since the host went on an extended hiatus in September 2021. Wendy was recovering from her ongoing health issues. Due to the increasing popularity of Sherri, Wendy’s show was canned and Sherri will premiere in Fall 2022.

During her chat with Fat Joe, the former show host said she will return to her talk show. While she doesn’t have any bad blood with Sherri, she prefers her own talk show and says she will make a comeback. She didn’t reveal the details of her comeback, including where her talk show would air. This is the same sentiment that Wendy said in previous interviews.

She has a feeling that she will return to television. But, it’s unclear how and in what form. Her production show canceled The Wendy Williams Show in February 2022. Despite Wendy’s claims, it sounds like it’s not coming back anytime soon.

Sherri Shepherd expresses concern

Sherri Shepherd urges fans to pray for Wendy Williams. She had an Instagram live with fans over the weekend. She responded to the former television host’s diss about her new show. She has a feeling that Wendy isn’t doing as well as she claims.

“Yeah. I watched Wendy Williams live with Fat Joe,” Sherri Shepherd said with a laugh. “I absolutely did. I did hear Wendy say she will not watch me on the new show. And that’s okay. You know, I understand.”

She also said she’s not mad at Wendy for making the diss. Sherri’s face then turned serious. She urged fans to “pray for her” because she is “going through a lot.” Sherri added that she is “truly concerned for her” without saying why.

Wendy Williams is dealing with a lot right now. Not only is she focusing on her health, but she’s also dealing with financial issues. Her bank account has been frozen, and she alleges that someone is using her money without her consent. While Sherri and Wendy aren’t friends, they run in the same social circles and will probably avoid each other.
