‘Bringing Up Bates’: Nathan Bates & Esther Expecting First Baby

Nathan and Esther tied the knot in October of 2021. Since then, they have been enjoying married life together and have shared a few updates with fans via social media.
Because the Bringing Up Bates kids typically have children of their own shortly after getting married, fans have been wondering about Nathan and Esther’s plans. There’s been speculation about them adding to their family soon, though fans didn’t know exactly when to expect an announcement.
Last month, Esther was even spotted in a shirt that read “American Mama.” However, she quickly shut down pregnancy rumors and stated that she only borrowed the shirt from a friend. But now, it looks like she was actually pregnant in that photo.

On Mother’s Day 2022, Nathan and Esther shared some big news with Bringing Up Bates fans. The couple posted photos of themselves holding a sign that reads, “Baby Bates arriving Oct. 2022.” The parents-to-be are beaming with joy in the professional photos they had taken.

In one snap, the pair has their hands on Esther’s little baby bump. In another, they are showing off a few sonogram photos.
The Bringing Up Bates couple wrote, “This Mother’s Day is extra special for us! We are so excited and grateful for this amazing gift!”
At this point, they haven’t shared the exact due date or the baby’s gender, but those details may be revealed soon.

Of course, fans are very happy to hear about Esther and Nathan’s big announcement. They are sending their congratulations and lots of other sweet messages their way. Family members, including Whitney Bates, Josie Balka, and others are thrilled for the couple.
Nathan’s mom, Kelly Bates commented and shared her excitement. She also wrote, “I think you should post the video of how y’all told us!!!” So, maybe fans will get to see that soon, too.
