‘Unexpected’ Fans Petition For TLC To Remove Jason Korpi
Unexpected fans are done with Jason Korpi and his behavior. Since taking to Reddit has not seemed to work, they are trying a new approach. This time, the hope is that TLC will finally listen and take action.
Jason Korpi Is Not What Unexpected Fans Expected
When Season 5 premiered, there were a few newbies joining the series. One of the couples announced was Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi. He already had a rep for being aggressive. Apparently, when he was on TikTok, holes were seen punched in the wall. So, he was not painted in the best light. Then the show premiered and viewers were appalled at what they saw. He had this way of controlling Kylen’s every move, keeping her away from her family, and dictating what she should do. Not out of her best interest but more so, what was best for Jason. When she decided a hospital birth was the best choice, he was against that.
He felt he would not have access to her in the hospital and felt a home birth was better. When the midwives said she needed to get to the hospital immediately, he refused to take her. Plus, he said an epidural was not necessary. No one likes him and his demanding ways. On top of all of this, he has now been arrested and is facing eleven charges. With all of the grievances against Jason, fans of the series are realizing they cannot just vent on Reddit. Not only are they scared for Kylen and her son, but they are also just tired of his antics. Therefore, they are taking it higher.
The Petition To Remove Jason
A fan has gone on change.org and started a petition to officially remove Jason from the series. This is what the petition states: “Why is TLC okay with showing this abusive relationship? It’s hard for me to watch knowing that he is getting paid for this. I know I could just stop watching the show but that’s not going to make the problem go away he still going to be on TLC’S payroll. Not only that I’m pretty sure taking the condom off without her knowledge is illegal in some states. Please sign this petition and maybe we can get tlc too remove him from the show.”
The founder is asking for one thousand signatures on a petition that started three weeks ago. So far, 854 people have signed. Signers have called him an abuser and a “controlling manipulative narcissist.” TLC has not responded to anything on Jason thus far. The most the network has done in these situations is keep cast members from appearing on tell-alls. That could very well happen with Jason and Kylen but time will tell.

Jason Karpi should be removed from Unexpected and never return. He is a horrible partner and should never be allowed to touch the mother. She is to weak to have him for a boyfriend.
Jason definitely needs to be taken off this show !Definitely Abusiive and Controlling! ESPECIALLY AT A YOUNG AGE. Kaylen health was in jeopardy due to the baby, and he continued to say, you don’t need an epidural. I’m not a mother, but it was very disturbing watching this episode. She allowed him to treat her like this. Wake up and smell the coffee Kaylen! You deserve soo much more, for you and your baby.. I just dont understand why their parents haven’t stepped in. If TLC can remove people from 90 day because of behaviour and social posts why is nothing being done for this girl they are highlighting the abuse and doing nothing to intervene. Wrong so Wrong

This little douchebag needs yo be hooked up to a tens unit to simulate labor. I’m guessing this little boy won’t make it past a 3. He has no idea what a woman goes through during labor. He thinks the medicine in an epidural will make mom high and harm the baby. Because of where it is given they are able to give such minute amounts of the medicine. Mom doesn’t get high or addicted by this little bit of medicine. I want him to wear that tens unit as long as she was in labor so he knows why she needed the epidural.
He is a rude, disrespectful, know it all CHILD! He has no business being on this show with his disrespect for the mother of his child. He is a bully and should be in jail instead of making money off of TLC. Please, please, please remove him.
She is such a sweet girl and he’s nothing but abusive to her! His dad is right it’s all about him and he treats everyone terrible! I’d like to see how Kylen and the baby do without him because if he’s going to treat her and everyone else like that how’s he going to treat innocent baby and Kylen after she gives birth?! He’s a terrible role model and young people shouldn’t learn or think they can act like that and it’s acceptable! It’s not! He blames everything on everyone else but won’t take responsibility for his actions! He has no empathy and if you ask me I think something really bad is going to come from his actions, I’d be asking a profiler bcuz there’s something wrong with him and I just want baby and momma to be safe! The way he treats her his parents and her parents and leaving to go to friends house when her parents come is pathetic for him to pull! Go by yourself you selfish brat, don’t drag her everywhere! Remove him…he has no concern for Kylen or his son. To let that girl suffer like that through the birth is unconscionable.
I say TLC should hook him up to a labor simulator for a few hours and see how he feels about Kylen’s desire for an epidural.
Kylen needs to go back home to her parents. Jason is verbally and emotionally abusive. This must be hard for her parents to watch without being able to do anything to help her. Even Jason’s father is embarrassed by his sons’ ignorant, abusive attitude. Kylen – please stand up for yourself….be an example for your son. He needs to see strength and not weakness in his mother. I think Jason has some mental instability issues along with anger and bullying tendencies. Kylen your parents love you – this is not something I see in Jason. I think he just wants a weak girl to control – and right now that’s you. ….but it doesn’t have to be….. GO HOME and love your parents and your baby.
TLC, you need to remove Jason from this show! How can you air episodes with him verbally abusing Kylen like this? Everyone can see he is narcissistic, a douche bag, ignorant, disrespectful, stupid, lazy, manipulative jerk! He sits there and acts like he is cool & doesn’t even realize how abusive & stupid he comes across, not to mention he knows nothing about child birth. This is not just sad, it is abuse in its purest word…. it was hard to watch the way he treated the doulas and put Kylen’s health at risk and telling her what she can & can’t do! then at the hospital FINALLY they put him in his place! You have showed some abuse with other couples but not to this extent and I personally have NO desire to watch this again….its just too upsetting to see this going on.
