Did Travis Barker Do Kourtney Kardashian’s Kids Dirty?
The newest episode of The Kardashians came out this week and it was a big episode. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged. However, some are not happy about how Travis Barker handled the situation. Kourtney’s kids were not in attendance and on the show, they seem pretty hurt.
Travis Barker gets yelled at
In the new episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney and Travis had a heartwarming moment when they got engaged. Of course, all of Kourtney’s sisters were there as well as her mom. Travis had all of his kids in attendance. However, there were three people missing which had fans pretty confused.
Travis and the Kardashians opted to not have Mason, Reign, and Penelope at the engagement. They thought the kids were too young and it might be too hard to get them away from their dad, Scott Disick. They were worried that Scott would not cooperate since he is still in love with Kourtney.
During the episode, the kids seem pretty sad when Kourtney calls to tell them the news. This has Reddit talking about if that was the right choice.
“That was heartbreaking. I cannot believe Travis didn’t talk to the kids prior and let them know his plan. I honestly think that was really crappy of him. They have enough Nannie’s and assistants that the kids could have been included for a little bit and then brought home 😢😢😢,” one person writes.
“They should of made it possible for her kids to be there. Those are her world. Those are her babies. I remember being a kid and being told by my step parent that I wasn’t allowed to invite my own mother to big life events for myself. Just because she was jealous. I’ve never let that go till this day. I hold that dear to me, because I will never get that time back,” someone else writes. They continue explaining: “I can never redo that time in my life. I don’t even have video or pictures!!! So that memory is gone.
Kourtney is usually very obsessed with her kids. Before Travis, they are basically all she ever talked about. However, now, they were nowhere to be seen.
Not everyone thinks so
While most people seem up in arms about the whole situation, there are some that don’t think the kids need to be there. After all, it can be hard for young kids to process an engagement like this.
“Why would the kids need to be there?” someone asks.
At the end of the day, it seems it would have been nice for Travis to at least ask Kourtney’s children if they would like to attend or if they were okay with the engagement.
