‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ Kailia Posey Dead At Age 16
Sad breaking news for fans of Toddlers & Tiaras as Kailia Posey was confirmed to be dead at the young age of 16. The young lady’s mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman, took to Facebook just yesterday to break the tragic news.
“I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever.” The heartbroken mother penned as she shared a beautiful photo of her late daughter, Kailia Posey.
Beyond confirming her daughter Kailia Posey was dead, Marcy Posey Gatterman did not share the details regarding her daughter’s cause of death at such a young age. In fact, the mother asked Toddlers & Tiaras fans for privacy so she could mourn the passing of her baby girl.
Kailia Posey Dead: Remembering the young star
Kailia Posey was just three-years-old when she was featured on the TLC series Toddlers & Tiaras. She appeared on the show beside her mother Marcy who had trained her to be a contortionist. In a preview of the TLC series uploaded to YouTube, Kailia’s mom said it wasn’t uncommon for her daughter to feel a bit nervous before she jumped on the stage. She, however, added that her daughter was a “pro” and would beat the competition every time.
She just celebrated her birthday one week ago
According to her Instagram profile, Kailia Posey celebrated her 16th birthday just one week ago. The former TLC starlet shared several photos of herself and her friends spending time together as they celebrated her sweet sixteen. Prior to her death, April 23rd was the last time Kailia Posey posted on her Instagram profile. The teenager shared a beautiful snapshot of herself standing on an elegant staircase as she rocked a gorgeous short red skirt with a matching top that had long puffer arms. Kailia Posey had a huge smile on her face as she tilted her head to the side while her gorgeous brown locks flowed down her body.
Former fans of Toddlers & Tiaras rushed into the comments of her final Instagram posts as well as her mother’s Facebook post breaking the news to send thoughts and prayers to the family as they urged the young lady to rest in peace.
