Terra Jole rose to fame as one of the cast members of Little Women: LA. She went on to dance her heart away on Dancing With the Stars. Now the reality star is facing a rough time in her life and needs all the support she can get.

Little Women: LA Launches Jole To Stardom

Though Terra had done work prior, it was the reality series that truly launched her career. Alongside several other little ladies, she showcased how life was as a little-person performer. She also showed what it was like to be in a relationship and the trials and tribulations of motherhood. The friendships could oftentimes be combative and rough but also loving. During all of this, Terra and her husband Joe Gnoffo shared they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Penelope was born in 2015. The following year, they welcomed a son, Grayson and just a few weeks later, Terra made a huge reveal.

She was announced as a cast member for Dancing With the Stars alongside Sasha Farber. They were eliminated ninth but she still had her reality series to fall back on. Furthermore, she was a producer for the Little Women spinoffs so she was able to keep herself busy. Finally, after eight seasons, the series came to an end in 2019. The following year, Terra welcomed her third child, another daughter Magnolia. She has still kept herself in the public eye with her site MiniMama.com. Terra constantly updates it but her most recent update shocked fans and followers as it was extremely devastating.

Challenges Ahead

On Friday, April 29th, Terra revealed that she had breast cancer. The former Little Women: LA star also shared she was undergoing a double mastectomy, according to The Sun. This occurred in a video she made as she attempted to call her mother. Her goal was to share this heartbreaking news with her mom on camera. Unfortunately, she did not pick up so it looked like she would have to leave a voicemail. Then, her mother did answer the call. “Hi, mom. Before I tell you what I’m about to tell you…” Terra started out the call but her mom said she was sitting down because she felt it was bad news.

“It’s not that bad. I just want you to know that you don’t need to worry like everything’s going to be okay. And the only reason I didn’t tell you is cause I don’t want you to worry. Next week I am having a doubled mastectomy because I have breast cancer,” Terra concluded. Though she knew she could hide it from fans, Terra has lived a very public life for years now. Therefore, she has decided to take them along this painful journey. Everyone has sent such love and support and that is exactly what she needs. Thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome.

  1. i had a double masectomy, and didnt even bother with the reconcructive surgery, it actually feels “free” not to have to wear a cumbersome bra and worry how tops will fit! the cancer is gone, the boobs are gone, and i am healthy and happy!there are a lot of flat chested women in this world so its not like you are so different!Good Luck Terra!

  2. It really breaks my heart to hear this I am glad she decided to share it with the public I will certainly keep her in my prayers and I will be following her

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I want to tell you I’m a 4x cancer survivor. I had breast cancer 2xs, and the second breast cancer was a double mastectomy. I diagnosed 3 of my cancers abd the 4th was a surprise. I’m a devout Christian lady and my best friend is Jesus Christ, I couldn’t make it without him. If your not a Christian God forbid you die, girl you are not going to Heaven. I survived a cancer that a oncologist said I was first person that lived over 5 yrs….yeah it’s been 16 yrs. Terra trust in the Lord, think about what I’m saying, there are no fire escapes in hell. Good bless you and your family.

  4. Hi Terra,

Hi Terra, loved watching you on little women, always liked your spunk! I just wanted to let you know that you’re doing the right thing. I had breast cancer in 2004 stage 3. I decided to have a double mastectomy as well, I had two young kids who depended on me. For me I had to do breast reconstruction so that I could feel like a whole woman once it was all over. And hey they look pretty damn good, I opted for heart shaped areolas as well. Are you having to do chemo also? Well I did and I opted for the 4 mo fast track. Very sorry that I had done that. Took a lot out of me.. still affected. If they ask tell them you want 6 mo treatment. Just wanting to help, eat everything that cancer hates and drink a lot of green tea. I just know that you’ll be alright you’re very strong. You’ll be in my prayers! Luv Carolyn
