Joy-Anna Forsyth Has An Honest Moment, Fans Are Sad For Her?
Former Counting On star and Duggar daughter Joy-Anna Forsyth got honest with fans in an interview. Her confession has fans and critics feeling very sad for her, however. They are upset that she feels so poorly.
It’s not too often that the Duggars open up about the sad or hard times in their lives. They tend to keep things positive, at least from the outside.
So, while Joy-Anna was attempting to say something positive, she ended up sharing her sad thoughts publicly. Scroll down to check out the throwback video.
Joy-Anna Forsyth gets honest with fans.
A clip of one of Joy-Anna’s Counting On interviews has resurfaced online. Though the show is no longer airing on TLC, fans often dig up old videos and re-watch them.
The Duggar daughter is talking about her maternity clothes and how she’s swapping them with her sisters and sisters-in-law. To save money, they share their maternity clothes with one another. Someone is always pregnant, so these clothes get a lot of good use.
Then, in an off-screen interview, a TLC producer asks, “What parts of pregnancy are you enjoying?”
In response, Joy-Anna Forsyth said, “I enjoy not having to suck in all the time, I can actually be proud of my belly.”
She made this comment with a little laugh, so she doesn’t seem to be thinking about it in a negative way at all.
Counting On viewers feel sorry for her.
On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are talking about Joy-Anna’s honest moment. Many of them are feeling sad and sorry for the young woman. They wish she didn’t feel this way about herself.
Though Duggar snarkers typically have critical things to say about the family, they find Joy-Anna’s confession heartbreaking.
Some simply say, “Poor Joy.”
Another Reddit user attempts to encourage Joy-Anna Forsyth, writing, “Joy, baby, be proud of that belly! Bellies are beautiful.”
Someone else shares their thoughts, commenting, “Crazy thing is, these girls would get bashed for looking fat/unkept/no make-up ect. And if their husband cheats on them, it’s their fault… which is so unfair. Yet if the man is looking like a pile of sh** he wouldn’t get bashed at all.”
