Lindy Miller wrote the novel, Aloha With Love, and Terence Brody (A Lesson In Romance, Rescuing Madison) wrote the script. Brian Herzlinger (A Christmas Dance Reunion, The Holiday Fix Up) is the director.

What Is UPtv’s Aloha With Love About?
According to the UPtv synopsis, Gemma (Smith) is a big city architect. However, her LA-based project is a bust. She is not feeling like the success she dreamed of is in reach.
However, her plans are not about to change. She returns home to Hawaii to handle her late aunt’s estate. That includes her decaying abode.
However, Gemma now has to deal with Ben (Donovan), the contractor that her late Auntie Lani hired to help her complete the task. Ben is her ex-boyfriend, the guy that pushes all of her buttons the wrong way.
He looks at the house as a beautiful project, and she thinks that it is a beastly disaster.

When Can You Watch UPtv’s Aloha With Love?
The premiere of Aloha With Love is on Sunday, May 1, at 7 p.m., Eastern, on UPtv. Encore showings include Sunday, May 1, at 11 p.m., and Thursday, May 5, at 9 p.m., Eastern.
Trevor Donovan’s Movie Set Mishap
When Trevor and Tiffany joined the two Aloha With Love writers, Lindy Miller and Terence Brody, director Brian Herzlinger and producer Oren Kamara, on the Jean BookNerd vlog, Donovan revealed that he suffered a crisis the day before they started shooting.
First, it maintained that they did not want Trevor doing any surfing or any sort of sport that thrill-seekers do when traveling to Hawaii. This is because of possible injury.
Moreover, there can be complications if he is more tan one day over another. That could look odd in the movie.
The day before shooting, Trevor and Tiffany decided to hang out and practice their lines on the beach. Trevor explained that he likes to spend time with his costar because it helps develop chemistry and it just makes the whole experience more fun.
Although he did use sunscreen when they first went out, he did not reapply. That turned into a crisis. When he got back to his room, he realized he was very red and burnt. He started to pour milk down his body to relieve the redness and pain.
He did let Brian know, but this was the first that producer Oren had heard of this. Thankfully, there were no shirtless scenes scheduled for that day, so all went well.
However, after they filmed the movie, the 90210 alum stayed on in Maui and did all of the surfing and fun stuff for a full week. He did wind up getting red and blistered, but that was inconsequential. He was on his own time.
