‘MAFS’ Fans Think Lindsey Georgulis Plays The Victim Card Too Much
Married at First Sight fans think Lindsey Georgulis and Mark Maher are headed for a divorce. They seem to argue a lot and step on each other’s toes. However, with that said, Lindsey steps up when Mark needs her. But, many fans are wondering is she playing the victim too much instead of letting her natural nurturing side shine through? Is MAFS star Lindsey playing the victim too much?
ScreenRant shared what MAFS fans are thinking about Lindsey Georgulis and Mark Maher. They’ve seen this couple have many ups and downs. Through it all Lindsey has stood by Mark when he needed her most. Most think she has a natural nurturing side to her, However, some also think that perhaps her need to play the victim outweighs her nurturing attitude.
Why do fans think this? Well, Lindsey has had somewhat of a Karen complex given to her since the beginning. She got that title when she got into a fight with Olajuwon Dickerson on the plane ride to Puerto Rico.
It seems Lindsey does like helping people and especially her new husband Mark. However, some fans think she demands too much gratitude for her good deeds.
Lindsey was called out for her fight with Olajuwon even though she did eventually makeup with him. Although they are now friends and everyone has moved on, she still can stir the pot quite often.
It’s been pointed out that Lindsey would give anyone the shirt off her back. However, she will also need to point out that she did it. Even her husband Mark says that he can see how she goes out of her way to support him. But, she doesn’t let him forget it either.
Mark said on Afterparty, “I think Lindsey is a natural nurturer.” He continued, “her natural response is to help people, but in the same token, she doesn’t acknowledge yea I was really tough on him.”
She was there for Mark during his bed bug disaster. She was also there for him when he had to make the tough choice to put his cat to sleep. Lindsey is great when she wants to be. However, does she take too much credit for it?
Lindsey is the kind of person who will totally own how good she is but not accept or admit it when she blows up.
Mark calling her hyper
Fans didn’t like when Lindsey lost it after Mark called her hyper. He noted to Dr. Pepper that he does not like it when Lindsey bites, pinches and kisses his neck to get him up. He tells her to stop and she doesn’t. Lindsey did not like hearing this.
Many think she can dish it out but she sure can’t take it.
One fan noted that Lindsey can stir the pot but then cries victim. Another noted she lacks self-awareness. Many also believe Lindsey insults Mark way too often. At one point she even discredited his sexual performance. Is she going too far?
