The Hallmark competition with GAC Media has taken another turn. This time, Crown Media Family Networks, Hallmark’s parent company, has signed Taylor Cole to an exclusive, multi-picture deal.
Like Lacey Chabert, and Holly Robinson Peete, two other stars that recently signed big contracts with Crown Media, Taylor Cole has had her own mystery franchise, stars in a yearly Christmas movie, and has filmed one of the most popular movie franchises for the network.
What are the details of this new contract?
Hallmark’s Parent Company Signs Taylor Cole To Multi-Picture Contract
On Wednesday, the feel-good network announced that Taylor Cole has signed with Crown Media Family Networks. According to Deadline, this is an exclusive, multi-picture deal. They did not specify the number of movies, nor the length of the contract.
Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks said, “We are thrilled to have Taylor on board to star in multiple movies for Hallmark.”
Lisa then shared precisely why Taylor is such a fan favorite.
She brings so much joy and positivity to the Hallmark family and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt stories that will touch our viewers.
Taylor Cole also gave a statement. “I am beyond excited for what is in store next.” She continued to explain why she loves working for Hallmark.
Being able to continue creating such amazing stories is something that I hold near and dear to me. I am forever grateful for the work I get to do with Hallmark.
Taylor Cole Has Starred In A Top Hallmark Movie Franchise
Fans of Hallmark’s One Winter trilogy adore Taylor’s pairing with Jack Turner. This has a cult following. However, the first time Taylor and Jack worked together was in Hallmark’s 2016 movie, My Summer Prince.
In addition to starring in Hallmark romcoms and Christmas movies, the multi-talented actress has also starred in Salvation, The Originals, The Glades, and CSI Miami.
What Is Happening With Ruby Herring Mystery?
Taylor Cole has also starred in a mystery series called Ruby Herring Mystery. This series is created by Dateline NBC host, Andrea Canning. Canning also wrote the screenplay for Taylor’s 2021 movie, South Beach Love.
However, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has been amid a reinvention. Therefore, no one knows what is going to happen with Ruby Herring Mystery, the series that Taylor Cole stars in alongside Stephen Huszar.
Hallmark made three movies. The third one aired in 2020. It is unlikely that there will be any more in this series.
Yet, with Aurora Teagarden axed, it is always possible that the network will reconsider any and all mysteries. It is certainly possible that Hallmark will want to develop this or other fabulous new projects with Taylor Cole.
