When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 8, entitled “Hope Valley Days: Part 2” continues the town’s festivities. The first-ever Hope Valley Days Festival is the ultimate cornucopia of holiday mashups ever seen!
However, not everyone is having a jolly time. One new member of the town is going through a very difficult trial.

What Is When Calls The Heart ‘Hope Valley Days: Part 2’ About?
First of all, what is the plotline for When Calls The Heart “Hope Valley Days: Part 2”? According to the Hallmark synopsis, the Hope Valley residents are enjoying the first annual Hope Valley Days Festival.
The tables are laden with food for Thanksgiving. Everyone has gathered in celebration. Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) is even taking photographs to commemorate this historic event.
However, newly elected Mayor Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) had a vision of “giving, fun, hope, and love,” and now the townsfolk may be tested.
An unwelcome visitor is hanging around town. Will the residents step up and support one of their own?

Ready to learn more about the upcoming When Calls The Heart episode? Here is what happens in the Preview Video for “Hope Valley Days: Part 2.”
The preview starts with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) sitting down at a table to talk with Lucas (Chris McNally). She whispers to him, “I just heard that Mei Sou is….”
In true couple mode, Lucas continues, “…is married. Possibly.” And then makes a stop-hand gesture.
Just then, the woman they were discussing, Mei Sou (Amanda Wong), walks by and says, “Good morning.”
Lucas calmly says, “Morning.”
However, Elizabeth looks a little nervous that they were caught gossiping, and says “Hello.”
Next, we see Mei with her back to the camera. From behind, we hear Nathan’s (Kevin McGarry) official voice, “He’s not your husband who is he?”
Now Nathan gets advice from Elizabeth. She tells him, “People care about you Nathan, and it seems as though you care about Mei.”
In the background, we hear, then see Ned (Hrothgar Mathews) be the voice of reason. “Whenever possible we should stand up for what we know is right.”
The next scene of the preview shows Nathan on Newton, with the Hope Valley Days banner blazing bolding across the road. He is stopped by a man. It is a smug-looking Geoffrey Lewis (Chris Cope). He tells the Mountie, “Constable, I would like to have Mei arrested.”
The final scene shows Dr. Carter (Andrea Brooks) asking Nathan, and a sullen Mei, who is looking down at the ground. “Nathan, what’s going on?”
Nathan replies, “I’m taking Mei into custody.” At that, Mei looks straight across at Faith.
