Fans Wish Katey Duggar ‘Good Luck‘ On Getting Jed’s Help With Baby
Katey Duggar may run into an issue when her son arrives in the next couple of weeks. She and her husband, Jed Duggar, are expecting their first baby together. But he may have some work to do before he’s ready to be a father. Now, fans and critics are wishing Katey “good luck” on this new journey.
Jed and Katey Duggar’s baby is due in April, but the couple didn’t reveal an exact due date. On Sunday, April 17, which was Easter Sunday, the couple shared a photo together, and Katey is still pregnant. But fans suspect the baby boy will arrive any day now.
Something Jed said years ago has come up and it may be a hint at what’s ahead for him as a new father. It turns out there might be a lot of work for Katey Duggar to do because Jed may not be interested in helping out with one specific part of parenthood.
Katey Duggar may be on her own when it comes to caring for her son.
On Reddit, an old quote from Jed Duggar has surfaced. While on TLC’s Counting On, he made a comment that is concerning now that he’s about to become a father.
One Duggar snarker says, “Good luck, Katey,” while sharing the screenshot with closed captioning. On the show, Jed previously said, “Diapers are gross. It’s not really my thing.”
Another Duggar snarker adds, “I can honestly say that, as a mom, diapers were also ‘not my thing’ but I changed hundreds and hundreds of diapers. Diapers are no one’s ‘thing.’ They are gross. But when we decide to be parent, we acknowledge we will be doing many activities that aren’t necessarily ‘our thing.'”
Others are pointing out that no one necessarily loves changing diapers, but it’s an important part of caring for children. Parents don’t really think they have a choice.
Hopefully, by now, Jed has changed his mind about diapers and will be willing to pitch in with the baby. Who knows what will happen when he and Katey Duggar welcome their bundle of joy to the world?
