‘When Calls The Heart’ S9, E10: ‘Never Say Never’

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) don’t agree on the best way to share unsettling news with the town about the coal mines, but that’s put behind them when Rosemary hears even more shocking news.
Derek Thompson wrote the script. He was behind the stellar “Turn Of The Page” episode aired earlier in the season. Once again, Neill Fearnley (Ruby Herring, Garage Sale Mysteries) is the director.
Did Events Of When Calls The Heart ‘Recent Memory’ Set Up Episode?
The episode before “Never Say Never” is entitled “Recent Memory.” In this episode, Hope Valley begins to feel that something is brewing.
First, Walden (Wesley Salter) is back in town. That is never good. Lucas (Chris McNally) is feeling some sort of pressure from this antagonist. He got a black eye in an earlier episode. What could be next?
Next, the oil investors arrived in Hope Valley. The pressure is on!
Moreover, Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) has devised a plan to deal with Walden. Will his plan work? Could his plan be this piece of information that has shocked Rosemary?
He may have planted some information that could influence a chain of events that could keep the coal mine from reopening.
Does Mayor Hickam Know What Is Going On?
A few key people in Hope Valley, including Bill, Lucas, Fiona (Kayla Wallace), and Henry (Martin Cummins), are aware of the danger lurking in Hope Valley.
Meanwhile, it seems that Mayor Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) is oblivious to nefarious characters that could cause harm to his new constituents.
With the synopsis, Hallmark has released photos from this episode. Included in those photos are Bill and Mike talking. It almost looks as though Bill is encouraging Mike.
Could Bill be helping the new Hope Valley Mayor find the tools to lead the residents during this mercurial time?
