Kim Kardashian Admits To Not Giving Pete Her Number At First
Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have been together for a bit now. But how did it all start? Turns out, it started before Kim’s Satruday Night Live appearance. And, she didn’t give Pete her number at first.

According to The Sun, Kim Kardashian got into the details of how she and Pete Davidson got together in a podcast called Not Skinny But Not Fat. Apparently, the first time Pete wanted to ask Kim for her number was when he found out she and Kanye West may be splitting up.
Kim filed for divorce back in February 2021 so this means Pete has had his eye on Kanye West’s girl for quite a while. Kim explains what happened on the podcast.
“His story is that he had been asking around for my number, ” she says.
Since everyone was so confused about all of the divorce drama, apparently, he kept to himself for a while.
“And everyone wasn’t sure, you know, ‘Is she going through a divorce?’ and he just wanted to wait a little bit.”
While they didn’t get together right when Pete would’ve preferred, Saturday Night Live ended up being the time for Pete to get Kim’s number – or so he thought.
Time to shoot his shot
During the new episode of The Kardashians, Kim reveals just how nervous she was to be on SNL. Because of this, she was asking a lot of cast members for advice. When she ran into Pete at the Met Gala in September of 2021, he was more than happy to help.
Apparently, he wanted to give Kim some advice but needed her number to do it. Unfortunately, the timing still wasn’t right because Kim had on her iconic Met Gala outfit which included a face covering and…gloves. So, she couldn’t type on her phone at all. While this was a letdown to Pete, Kim tried to give him her number anyway. But, he didn’t take it.
“He was like, ‘Take my number if you need anything,'” she says. “And I had gloves on and I couldn’t get in my phone with the gloves, and I was like, ‘Oh I have gloves! And I can’t —.’ And he was like, ‘All right cool,’ and walked away. I was gonna be like, ‘Oh, but take my—. But then it was like, no.”
Since then, they ended up making it work of course. It sounds like as the new show, The Kardashians continues, fans will have more of a chance to see some behind-the-scenes clips of Kim as she works on her relationship with not only Pete but her ex, Kanye West.
