‘SW’ Is Meri & Robyn Brown’s BFF Relationship Real?
Meri and Robyn Brown seemed to have a genuinely close relationship. When Sister Wives began, it was revealed that Meri was the one who encouraged Kody to pursue Robyn. They shared a lot of great moments together. Yet is their BFF status real and true?
Meri And Robyn- Best Friends Forever?
When the series began in 2010, Meri shared that she and Kody were out when she encouraged him to dance with Robyn. From there, he was head over heels. Yes, there was some jealousy from the other wives, Janelle and Christine but Meri bonded to the new wife. A very special moment in their relationship was right after Robyn gave birth to Solomon. She knew Meri had struggled with fertility and desperately wanted more than just one child. Therefore, Robyn offered to be a surrogate for Meri and Kody. The two ladies also went on to start a jewelry business together, My Sisterwife’s Closet.
The most selfless act Meri ever did was divorce Kody so that Robyn could marry him. This allowed him to adopt her three kids from a previous marriage. Unfortunately, a lot of the good was overshadowed by Meri’s catfishing incident and it marred her relationships with the family. She was able to bounce back with Robyn as well as the other wives. Her bond with Robyn’s littles, Solomon and Ariella is extremely strong so she has tried to ensure the bond remains stable. Did Flagstaff change anything?
Still BFFs?
The Brown family relocated to Flagstaff from Vegas in 2018 and in 2019, Meri and Robyn Brown took a trip. They headed off to Chicago and Meri shared a photo on her Instagram about their adventures. She said of Robyn that: “Everyone needs someone who has her back, who she can call friend, who she can trust, yes, even when she creeps up on you in a dark alley in Chicago.” Meri’s followers praised the friendship but could it withstand the impending pandemic? In a typical plural family, they would have all quarantined together but there was so much division and pushback. Robyn and Meri were the only ones who truly followed Kody’s strict pandemic protocols. By then, Kody and Meri’s relationship was non-existent.
He was mainly staying at Robyn’s because he felt his other two wives were not truly safe. The rest of his kids were being disobedient in his eyes. Meri really wanted Kody around as she felt super lonely and she just wanted to be able to hug Robyn’s kids. It took nine months for it to finally happen but they were the only two wives to spend Thanksgiving 2020 together. In the end, it seems they could be closer and Robyn could be more receptive to Meri who’s been nothing but safe and caring. Yet Robyn has popped up in Meri’s Instagram Lives so maybe they have a low-key love.
