‘My 600-Lb. Life’ Update: Cast Member Hospitalized For Blood Clots
One former My 600-Lb. Life cast member is in the hospital for something pretty serious. It seems that this Season 7 alum may have a long road to recovery ahead of her.
My 600-Lb. Life update
One Season 7 cast member from My 600-Lb. Life revealed to fans that she isn’t doing too well. Unfortunately, Brianne Smith has found herself in the hospital with some pretty serious blood clots. She shared an update to fans on her Instagram just yesterday.
“Just got back to my room…,” she starts the caption. “boy that was something I went in at 3pm and was done about 9:30pm they really had to get in there, my left leg had a massive clot from below my knee to my lungs they removed my ivc filter because it had lots of clots around it and they were worried that I would just form more clots if we left it in there.”
According to the CDC, blood clots can “cause illness, disability, and even death,” so it’s a very good thing Brianne is in the hospital getting treatment before things got out of hand.
She finishes the post by saying: “So I’m in my room now in some pain cause they went behind my legs and through my neck but here’s to the road to recovery thank you all for your prayers and thoughts today.”
It sounds like Brianne caught her issues just in time. Luckily she hasn’t updated fans saying things are any worse. However, that does mean fans are left wondering how Brianne is doing right now. Hopefully, she is on the up and up.
It appears that Brianne has a whole network of supporters in her comments who are sending her many healing vibes. Hopefully, they are able to help her heal quickly!

Brianne’s new baby
This isn’t Brianne’s first time in the hospital lately. In fact, she was just there in recent months after giving birth to the newest addition to her family – her son, Rj.
The TLC star has been keeping fans updated on her little bundle of joy sharing his new milestones.
Things took a more serious turn on April 1 though when Brianne urged followers not to joke about pregnancy on April Fools Day. She shared that she had to use a donor to become a mommy to Rj so the joke is just not funny anymore.
“I couldn’t get pregnant either and had to use a donor. Now I have a perfect baby I love with every ounce of me,” she writes.
