Joy-Anna Forsyth Reunites With Best Friend Carlin Bates
Counting On star Joy-Anna Forsyth and Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates are back together again. These ladies grew up together and are now both moms to two kids each. They’ve stayed friends since they were young. There is some geographical distance between the two of them, but they make time to see each other whenever possible.
Carlin recently gave birth to her second child, Zade Patrick. So, maybe that’s why Joy-Anna is in town. Carlin also has a two-year-old daughter, Layla Rae.
Joy-Anna Forsyth’s kids are Gideon Martyn, who’s four years old, and Evelyn Mae, who will turn two this summer.
Joy-Anna lives in Arkansas with the rest of the Duggar family. Carlin and most of the Bates family live in Tennessee.
Thanks to social media, fans have gotten to see the two young women reunite a few different times over the years. Carlin was there for Joy-Anna when she tragically lost her baby at 20 weeks gestation. During one of their recent visits together, the women got their hair done.

Joy-Anna Forsyth and Carlin Bates are finally reunited!
In a new Instagram story post on Saturday, April 9, Carlin Bates shared a new photo of herself and Joy-Anna Forsyth. Carlin happily wrote, “So excited to spend the weekend with you.”
It looks like the photo might have been taken at the airport when Carlin went to pick up Joy-Anna.
In the photo below, you can see Joy-Anna on the left and Carlin on the right. Joy-Anna’s one-year-old daughter, Evelyn, is in the stroller. It looks like Joy-Anna might have left her four-year-old son, Gideon, at home with her husband, Austin, or another family member.
So far, Carlin and Joy-Anna haven’t shared any details about this special visit. Maybe they will share more photos or a video soon. Of course, fans would love more information about the visit and to see the girls and their cute kids hanging out together. For now, they’re probably soaking up this special time they have together.
