Wendy Williams is in high spirits lately. The talk show host ditched her wheelchair amid the growing concerns about her health. She looked happy and ready to get back to work since she is back in New York City. Wendy was spotted exiting her $3 million home in a fancy getup.

The television personality wore a black fur coat, which she paired with an all-black ensemble. It’s the first sighting of Wendy in several weeks. As fans know, Wendy hid her face during her interview with Good Morning America. She looked ecstatic to be back home since she’s been hiding out in Florida since September 2021.

She was escorted out of her apartment building in the rainy New York weather on Thursday afternoon. She even had a smile on her face as she wore her big fur coat and matching shaggy boots.

A man carried an umbrella over her head to keep her out of the pouring rain. Wendy carried an aqua-colored train case and a black leather handbag. She looked happy as she left her NYC penthouse. The former radio DJ engaged in conversation with the man who escorted her into a waiting vehicle. Wendy has been back home amid her ongoing court battle for control over her estate and finances.

Wendy Williams is still in a legal battle with Wells Fargo. They claim that she needs a power of attorney to access her bank account information. However, Wendy claims that someone else is using her money without her consent. She promised that she will get her money back.

This is also the first sighting amid the reports that she relied on a wheelchair. Wendy had to take a step back from her talk show due to health issues. Yet, in the new photos, she looked physically cable of taking care of herself. She walked without the help of assistants.

Wendy Williams may have lost her talk show, but that’s not stopping her from making a return to television. Last month, TMZ published a few photos of the talk show host in South Florida. She was waiting for her flight back to NYC. In the photos, Wendy was on the phone as she worked on some “private things.” She promised her fans that she will make a triumphant return to television.

Sources told TMZ that Wendy Williams was traveling with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. At the time, he guided her through the airport as they made their way to their flight. She was able to transport her own luggage and purse. Wendy also spoke to a fan who asked her about her return to television.

Wendy said she’s in the process of making that work. She also has to iron out the issues with her finances. The celebrity will be ready to get back on television once she fixes her personal matters. Wendy Williams claims Wells Fargo denied access to her accounts and claims she has “several million dollars” frozen due to alleged financial exploitation.
