’90 Day’: Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar Leaves Bad Taste In Mouths Of Fans
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar has a habit of rubbing fans the wrong way. They have questioned why he is back for another season when he could date a much younger woman. More so, one of the fans from his country who could give him all that he wants and needs. Yet, now fans of the show have another reason to be upset with Sojaboy and it involves the tell-all and Kimberly.
Sojaboy Returns To 90 Day Fiance For Round Two
Viewers first met Sojaboy in Season 4 of Before the 90 Days when he joined with Lisa Hamme. Though quite mismatched, he appeared to be very invested in the Pennsylvanian who was around twenty years his senior. She flew all the way to Nigeria to meet up with the rapper who wrote a song just for her. Unfortunately, once she got there, she was not exactly what he expected. Furthermore, Lisa had a jealous streak which put a dark cloud over the trip. She had an issue with his fans liking his social media posts and approaching him. At one point, Lisa reminded him of all the men she had back in America waiting for her.
His mother was not a fan of hers due to her age and the fact that she could not give her grandkids. Still, they got married and ultimately divorced. For Season 5 of the series, Sojaboy returned with his superfan Kimberly who was a dark-haired version of Lisa. Though she seemed much more down to earth than his ex-wife, she did have a controlling side. He did not want a commitment right out of the gate but she showered him with lavish gifts. In the end, the two became a couple and were seemingly very happy. Unfortunately, it appeared Sojaboy needed closure with another ex he wrote a song about. This was something Kimberly did not know about until part one of the tell-all.
Fans Take Issue With Sojaboy But Why?
In the finale, Sojaboy was seen calling Zara, an ex he wrote a song about. Kimberly had flown to Tanzania for the filming of the music video but thought the relationship was over. She was stunned to discover Sojaboy had called Zara when Shaun Robinson showed the clip at the tell-all. Though Sojaboy has since come out and said the timeline is completely false and he was forced to make the call, fans are still livid. According to Screen Rant, they are not necessarily mad he called Zara but more so about how he reacted when Kim found out. She immediately started to cry which evoked sympathy from her co-stars. This made Sojaboy immediately tell her to “calm down” and he started to point at her as he asked her not to cry.
He also proceed to smile and chuckle as she was crying then Kimberly got up and walked out, her son following. Fans took to Reddit to voice their frustration: “He’s trying to hold back laughter because it’s all a joke and a game to him. As I’ve said before, her feelings are the least of his concerns.” Another person added: “He’s always smiling when she cries!!! Awful.” He does not seem to care that he is hurting her which was clear when she expressed her feeling in Tanzania. They were by the pool and he said “this is funny” to which she threw a drink in his face.
Was his behavior acceptable? Let us know in the comments. Don’t miss part two of the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days tell-all Sunday on TLC.

The only likable couples on 90 Days were Hamsa and Memphis and John and Nelcy. The others deserve each other and this is not a compliment. Jasmine is vulgar and classless. Gino is a creepy liar. Kim, a desperate demanding and controlling mother of a decent son. Ella an overblown drama Queen. Ben appears to be a delusional old man looking for arm candy. Mike is pathetic and vengeful. So, in the end, who cares
