‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Officially Renewed For Season 8

It’s finally official and the speculation is over. Fan-favorite Bachelor in Paradise is returning for Season 8. The announcement that ABC was renewing the show came Thursday. Keep reading to find out what is known.

Bachelor in Paradise is returning for Season 8

Fans have been waiting for months to hear whether or not their favorite beach reality show was returning for Season 8. Today, the official Bachelor in Paradise Twitter page shared the news. They said, “It’s the announcement you’ve been waiting for… 🏝🦀☀️ #BachelorInParadise is headed back to the beach for another season!”

There have been rumors and speculation that since ratings were down a bit last year that the show may go off the air forever. Fuel was added to the fire when news came that The Bachelorette would not be airing until July 11. Even Reality Steve was unsure of the status.

Now, fans can relax and know that former cast members will be returning to the beach to try once more to find love. No specific date for filming has been announced. However, most are speculating it will film as normal in June. Once filming is complete, the show will most likely air in September.

History of BIP

Bachelor in Paradise premiered in 2014 and fans have loved it since. It returned for the 2021 season after taking a year off due to the ongoing pandemic.

The official BIP page describes the series as former contestants returning to find love. It says, “They may have left their respective seasons brokenhearted, but now they have the opportunity to travel to a romantic paradise in hopes of turning a potential summer fling into the real thing.”

There have been tons of successful couples emerge from the summer spin-off. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert met on the Mexico beach and fell in love. They now have three children and are still happily married.

Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk also met on BIP and are now married with their first child born this year.

Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes are another successful couple from the franchise. Along with them are Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch who also just had a baby and are expected to wed later this year.

Then of course there are fan favorites Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti. These two are married and also just welcomed their son, Dawson, this year.

Season 7 yielded some successful matches as well. They are Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile and Kenny Braasch and Mari Peppin. Both of these couples have taken the next steps and moved in together.
