‘Dr. Pimple Popper’ Educates On Fibroblasts & Keloids
Not everyone can handle what TLC’s Dr. Pimple Popper brings to the table. But if you’re one of the many viewers that are fascinated by medical oddities, you’ll love what we’re going to see from Dr. Lee in new episodes.
Wednesday nights have never been so exciting. Keep reading to see a sneak peek of what’s to come this season.
The new Dr. Pimple Popper episode will deal with some serious keloids
Some TLC fans feel completely grossed out about Dr. Pimple Popper. But others love it. And Dr. Lee just wants to help educate the public. That’s why she addresses fibroblasts, keloids, and more in an upcoming episode.
TLC uploaded a new clip to tease new episodes on their official Instagram page.
“A case even #DrPimplePopper can’t handle on her own! 😱 Don’t miss it Wednesdays at 9/8c,” they captioned the new teaser.
In the beginning, we see Dr. Lee chatting with a patient who suffers from chronic keloids. He says his keloid has been growing back for the past 15 years. Every time he had the growth removed, it would just grow back.
Dr. Lee continues to say that keloids are triggered by trauma — unfortunately, getting the keloid removed also counts as trauma. So when the patient gets it removed, the area gets triggered and grows another keloid.
Unfortunately, Dr. Lee tells the patient she can’t personally do anything about his keloids. But she does know a doctor that can help. The clip ends with Dr. Lee discussing the patient’s options with him. It seems like he would be interested in seeing the doctor she recommends.
New episodes of Dr. Pimple Popper air on TLC Wednesday nights at 9 PM eastern time. Don’t forget to tune in and keep up with Dr. Lee and her patients!
Fans love the new cases featured this season
Dr. Lee might not be able to help the patient with keloids, but she’s done a lot of other great work this season.
The ongoing Dr. Pimple Popper season has been pretty exciting. We’ve already seen quite a few interesting cases — including the pastor and father who had a growth on his upper thigh.
The growth horrified his children, who referred to it as his “thing.” In one clip, his daughter hilariously referred to it as her “sleep paralysis demon.”
Fortunately, Dr. Lee managed to help the patient and remove his growth so he could get back to his normal life.
