‘Bringing Up Bates’: Erin Paine Introduces Newest Family Member
The Bringing Up Bates family has grown once again. This time, Erin Paine is the one introducing a new member of the family. How has her family grown?
In case you don’t know, Erin and her husband, Chad, have five children together, including Carson, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland, and Finley. Finley was born in January, but someone new has already joined the busy family.

On Instagram for the past week, Bringing Up Bates star Erin has been sharing new photos and videos of her newest family member. So, Bringing Up Bates fans have had plenty of chances to “meet” the new addition. It all began on Everly’s fourth birthday.
In an Instagram post, Erin wrote, “When we asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she instantly replied, ‘a REAL mommy and baby monkey!’ After realizing that isn’t possible right now, she said she would settle for a REAL pony. 😂 So meet her last choice… This is Pony Rainbow! 🐭 (it really looks like a mouse, I know! 😳)”
Then, Erin gave fans a glimpse at the little girl’s personality. She said, “Evy is the most animal-loving child I’ve ever known. She wants them all to get in her bed every night!”
On Wednesday, April 6, Erin shared a new video of Everly with Pony Rainbow. In the video, Everly is playing with magnetic tiles. At first glance, you might not see the hamster. The new pet is actually sitting on top of Everly’s head while she plays! You can watch the video here.
Bringing Up Bates star Erin also shared a photo of Everly with the new little critter on her Instagram stories. She revealed that the pet is a dwarf hamster.
Bringing Up Bates fans love Everly’s heart.
In the comments section of Erin Paine’s posts about Everly’s new pet, fans are talking about how much the little girl loves animals. One fan says, “She’s so pretty! A girl after my own heart…fellow animal lover here!👍😊❤”
Another says, “Love the hamster on her head! She is truly a lover of animals.”
Someone else adds, “I love that Pony Rainbow is just resting on her head and not running off. Love your family ❤️”
A few fans are applauding Erin’s bravery, too. They think the new pet looks too much like a mouse and say they wouldn’t allow it in their home.
