Amy King gives fans a full rundown on Daxton’s head injury.
On her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 6, Amy revealed to fans that her two-year-old son, Daxton, had injured himself. Unfortunately, he’s a little banged up. Amy went on to explain what had happened and how he’s doing now.
She wrote, “One minute he was jumping like a Kangaroo and the next he jumped a bit too hard, lost his balance and well.. hit the coffee table really hard!”
Then, the Duggar cousin added, “He didn’t need stitches.. but we have a butterfly bandage on it, plus peroxide to clean it and then another band aid covering it all.. but it was almost a hospital visit. Any type of head wound just bleeds so much!”
On her Instagram stories, Amy shared another photo of Daxton as he enjoyed some rest time. You can see his butterfly bandage in the photo.
Of course, this was all very hard for both Daxton and Amy King. She explained, “I hated to see him in pain.. but mom mode took over I stayed calm, applied pressure and I just rocked him and reassured him he was going to be ok.”
They spent the day cuddling and enjoying pop-tarts and gummy bears.
Duggar fans send thoughts and prayers to the little guy.
In the comments section of Amy King’s new post, fans are sending lots of love to Daxton. They hope the little guy feels better soon. Many of them are just glad to hear that he didn’t have to go to the emergency room or get stitches. His injury easily could have been much worse than it was.
