What Happens In the When Calls The Heart S9, E 6 Preview?
Despite the beauty of Lucas and Elizabeth’s deepening love, the When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 5 Hallmark Preview shows an ominous undercurrent. This has to do with the oil company. What does the preview show?
The preview starts out with Henry and Lucas talking outside, including the former coal mine. Henry warns the saloon owner, “Jerome and his associates could reopen that coal mine.” Henry solemnly reminds Lucas of the tragedy of Coal Valley. “This town lost husbands, and sons and brothers in that mine.”
Next, we see Fiona speaking to Henry. She tells him, “I know I bear some responsibility,” in a short clip.
Next, we hear Lucas ask, ” Is there any step we can take to remove the possibility?” We see he is speaking to a very serious-looking Bill.
Next, Bill sternly alerts those in the room, “For the sake of this town, there’s to be no talk of this outside of my office, understood?”
Who is in the room? It is Henry, who is sitting, with his head looking down, Fiona, who looks very emotional, a fierce-looking Lucas, and a firm Bill Avery. They are all in this and all in agreement. This is a very serious situation.
Next, we see a very romantic Lucas and Elizabeth sitting at a table. She reaches in to take his hand, as he says “When life is upside down, I wish you knew how much it means to me, just to be with you.” Elizabeth gives him a warm smile, completely unaware of the burden of the secret that Lucas must keep.
