Amy Halterman reveals Gage learned how to say a particular phrase

It’s not at all uncommon for Amy Halterman to share updates on Gage. But in her latest Instagram post, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star revealed Gage got to go on a fun outing with one of his cousins.

Amy also commonly responds to fan comments, which she did here too.

On the post, Amy revealed that Gage has actually been talking since he turned four months old.

“The other day he told me to go away lol,” the TLC star revealed in the Instagram comments section.

After three seasons of 1000-Lb. Sisters, he could have learned that from any number of family members. His mother and Aunt Tammy go back and forth with each other all the time — it’s possible he even picked this up from Amy herself.

Fans scrutinize the TLC star’s every move as a parent

Amy Halterman does her best to be the kind of mother Gage needs. However, this doesn’t stop haters and trolls online from bothering her and criticizing her every move.

Amy recently took baby Gage to see Disney On Ice — a fun and innocent outing for the family. But even that wasn’t good enough for some fans. A few argued that Gage was way too young to go see a show like this. Some others even argued that Amy was a bad mother for supporting Disney and its inclusive ideology.

“Please stop supporting Disney,” wrote one irate fan in the comments section. “They want to indoctrinate your children with homosexuality and transgenderism. When your son goes to pre-k, they will teach him perverted ideologies.”

In a nutshell, it really seems like Amy Halterman can’t win here. But either way, she just wants her little boy to be happy and is doing the best she can.
