In case you missed the news, Trace and Lydia are now engaged! He popped the question in a romantic proposal on the rooftop of a hotel. The couple is looking forward to their future together. They haven’t revealed any details about when they plan to tie the knot or about what’s next. But they did share one important piece of information with fans.

Without Bringing Up Bates on UPtv anymore, viewers won’t be able to watch the proposals, weddings, and other big moments on TV. Fortunately, many of the Bates kids have found other ways to share their lives publicly.

On social media on Saturday, April 2, Trace and Lydia shared an exciting announcement. Via their Instagram stories, they revealed to Bringing Up Bates fans that they have started their own YouTube channel.

On her Instagram stories on Saturday, Lydia wrote, “We started a YouTube!!” She filmed herself and Trace, while showing their channel page on the computer, as you can see below.

Then, she put up a question box for fans to respond to. She asked what videos fans would like to see next.

Trace and Lydia aren’t the first members of the Bates family to head over to YouTube. His sisters, Erin Paine, Alyssa Webster, and Carlin Stewart frequently share new YouTube videos. Plus, Katie, Lawson, and other siblings have started sharing new videos online.

According to Trace and Lydia’s YouTube channel bio, they will be sharing videos monthly. They describe their YouTube account as a “vlog, travel, and lifestyle” channel. Next, Trace plans to share with fans how he and Lydia met.

Fans enjoy keeping up with the family via YouTube, especially because Bringing Up Bates was canceled. So, fans are looking forward to seeing what Trace Bates and Lydia Romeike decide to share on YouTube.
