‘The Little Couple’ Jen Arnold Gives Fans Detailed Post Surgery Update
The Little Couple star Jen Arnold was hospitalized back in February and fans were obviously worried. She revealed that her hip surgery from twenty years prior had failed. Therefore, she had to undergo a hip revision. Now, she is finally sharing an update with her followers about how it is all going.
The Little Couple’s History Of Health Problems
Viewers first met Dr. Jen Arnold in 2009 when the series first premiered on TLC. The show followed Jen and her husband Bill Klein as they dealt with life and the attempt to build a family. Unfortunately, they could not biologically have children so the series showed them as they had adopted their children. Sadly, Jen was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, something she allowed the cameras to document. Finally, after undergoing chemotherapy, Jen shared that she was in remission in 2014.“I had my official last chemo treatment. And while I’m hesitant to say I’m cancer-free – maybe that’s common for people who have had cancer – I’m doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction. I am very excited,” she told People.
Twenty years ago, Jen underwent a hip replacement which she knew had a chance of failure. Back in February, it did fail, right around the time her husband Bill went in for surgery. Therefore, she headed to New York for a revision. A lot was going on in the family with Bill’s surgery and a move so it was horrible timing but Jen took it in stride. Followers sent their good wishes to the fan-favorite with hopes for a super speedy recovery. Now Dr. Jen is giving an update on her recovery.
An Update From The Doc Herself
The Little Couple star is finally giving her followers a much-needed update on her hip revision recovery. Standing on crutches next to her amazing doctor, she is now six weeks post-op. Jen admits this hip replacement revision was not easy since she had a slight pelvic fracture. However, compared to the other orthopedic surgeries she has had in her life (30+), it actually was easier than it sounds. Luckily, she is officially all healed and can start to walk. Additionally, she will undergo physical therapy and Jen admits she cannot wait to start doing regular daily tasks again.
Her followers were so excited for a positive update that they could not resist sending love and positive thoughts. “So glad you are on the mend!!!! Sending all positive thoughts your way!!! Keep it up,” one commented. Another added: “I have the utmost respect for you & your husband! You both are extraordinary! Keep up your healing!” Many wished they could see Jen and Bill back on their television very soon while others are continuing to pray for her. Hopefully, she will heal better than ever.
