On April 3, 2022, TMZ dropped the shocking announcement that Mama June is about to be grandma to twins. The former TLC star has four daughters – Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.
Of those four, the news outlet reported that “Pumpkin” is pregnant again with twins. In fact, they even shared what they claim is a sonogram of the babies.
According to the source, Mama June’s daughter is having a boy and a girl. The spy further revealed a June 2022 due date.
At this point, Mama June and her daughters have all kept quiet about the bombshell news report.
So, is “Pumpkin” pregnant or did TMZ get fooled in a belated April Fool’s Day prank?

Mama June just became a grandmother again last year. “Pumpkin” welcomed her second child, a son, with husband Joshua Efird in July of 2021. The couple also has a four-year-old daughter.
Given that their son is not even a year old yet, fans are skeptical of TMZ‘s report of impending twins. In fact, “Pumpkin” has been promoting a weight loss supplement on her social media.
However, it seems some fans do believe the pregnancy report. They’ve already started dropping comments on the weight loss posts, criticizing the reality star.
“Your [sic] using this/promoting this but you’re pregnant with twins?” one person wrote.
Another offered their congratulations on the pregnancy.
Could Pumpkin be keeping her pregnancy under wraps for new season?
It’s very rare for TMZ to report inaccurate information. It’s entirely possible that “Pumpkin” is pregnant, despite just having a baby less than a year ago. However, many fans are holding off for confirmation from Mama June or her family.
Mama June’s Road to Redemption reality show returns to WE tv next month, though they haven’t revealed a premiere date yet.
