Being a mother is a tough job as it is. But being a television mother is an entirely different ballgame. Every choice Amy Halterman makes for her son Gage seems to be scrutinized by the public.
After a fun family outing to Disney On Ice, Amy happily shared photos with her Instagram followers.

One fan had a major problem with Amy Halterman supporting Disney
Disney remains one of the most popular companies in the world today. However, not everyone is on board with the company. Lately, the company’s inclusive messages are turning some people off to its films, products, and charm.
Some of Amy’s followers were less than thrilled to learn she took her son to Disney On Ice.
“Please stop supporting Disney,” wrote one irate fan. “They want to indoctrinate your children with homosexuality and transgenderism. When your son goes to pre-k, they will teach him perverted ideologies.”
Of course, a lot of other fans thought that was a ridiculous statement. After all, it’s just Disney On Ice.
“Examples of the indoctrination? Another fan wrote. “What specifically are they doing to ingrain homosexuality and transgenderism?”
Another fan brought up the fact that Tammy Slaton, Amy’s older sister, identifies as pansexual. So more than likely, Michael and Amy Halterman are LGBTQ+ friendly.

Fans seemingly always have something to say about the TLC star’s choices
Although Disney On Ice seems pretty harmless, this isn’t the first time fans flamed Amy Halterman’s parenting choices. After a recent Instagram post, some fans earnestly thought she let Gage play with toilet brushes.
However, she quickly clapped back at the naysayers and revealed it was indeed just a toy.
In general, Michael and Amy Halterman seem to take parenting very seriously. They have another son due in July and they can’t wait to expand their little family. The TLC star routinely posts pregnancy updates on her social media channels, but she hasn’t revealed the little boy’s name yet.
During her last update, Amy revealed she’s having pretty difficult cravings. She’d love to have some tomatoes, but they’re giving her heartburn. Hopefully, the negative symptoms subside soon and Amy can rest. Before long, her second son will be here!
