One Sister Wives fan admitted they did a little deep-diving into Meri’s business. As they poked around the establishment, they realized her B&B lacks something major. Does Meri Brown’s B&B leave something to be desired?
One Sister Wives fan took to Reddit to reveal they decided to look up Meri’s B&B on Google. They pulled it up on Google Maps and took a look around. They wanted to see what kind of environment the business establishment was located in. Fans quickly realized the neighborhood the B&B was located in isn’t really what you expect when you go looking for it.
Fans note the photos Meri uses to promote the B&B tease of a gorgeous, scenic, and relaxing experience. A search on Google Maps, however, reveals the neighborhood Meri Brown’s B&B is located within doesn’t offer a very scenic or visually appealing environment to look at.
One individual penned: “Who else pictured the B&B in a field? Why is it so surprising to me that it’s a residential street?”
“I visited it the year after it opened. The neighbor had garbage/junk strewn all over the yard making the whole area look really trashy. The town itself is actually pretty cute though.” Another chimed in.
A third agreed: “I pictured it on the outskirts of town, because it looks a lot more scenic on the show than it does in real life lol. That poor little building would do better away from the beat up neighborhood.”
Are residential B&B’s that common?
According to some chatter on the Reddit thread, it isn’t that uncommon for a B&B to be smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood. It was fairly common for people to buy a large house in the middle of a neighborhood and turn it into a bed & breakfast.
Fans, however, agree that both the Instagram photos and the TLC series promise more scenic surroundings than what the establishment actually offers.
