‘Full House’ Fans Livid After Oscars Snub Bob Saget
Many entertainment fans had the chance to watch the Oscars this past weekend. But many fans couldn’t help but notice something was a little off. During the “In Memoriam” section of the awards ceremony, fans noticed Bob Saget wasn’t included.
So what exactly happened? Full House fans expressed their frustration online. Keep reading to learn a little more about the situation.
The Oscars seem to snub Full House alum, Bob Saget
There are still things we don’t know about the death of Bob Saget. However, we do know that the Full House actor seemed to pass away after sustaining head injuries related to a fall in his hotel room back in January.
So why didn’t the Oscars include Saget? They did include other celebrities that passed away around the same time, including Betty White.

What happened to the beloved television actor?
Authorities are keeping a lot of information quiet to protect Bob Saget’s family from more pain. But photos of his hotel room, excluding his remains, are available to see online.
TMZ published photos of Saget’s hotel room and headboard — the object authorities believe caused his tragic death. According to authorities, the headboard looks padded but actually has a very hard surface underneath.
Authorities believe that Saget hit his head on the headboard, causing a brain bleed. They suspect he hit his head as he prepared to go to bed for the night.
Witnesses who saw Bob Saget before he went to his hotel room noted that the actor seemed just fine. He wasn’t displaying symptoms of impairment or an illness. TMZ also reports no one entered the actor’s hotel room until security discovered the body.
Since Saget’s passing, many celebrities came forward to say kind things about him. His onscreen daughter Candace Cameron Bure shared a heartfelt tribute on social media as soon as she heard the news.

Although Full House wrapped up in the 90s, it seems like Bob Saget really had a profound impact on the other actors. John Stamos also notably struggled to say goodbye to his former costar.
“I’m not ready to accept that he’s gone,” Stamos wrote on his social media page. The pair were reportedly very close. “I’m not going to say goodbye yet. I’m going to imagine him out there, still on the road, doing what he loves with all his heart and humor.”
