They gave the lowest tip in the history of the franchise. Their fellow guests, Janelle Flatt and Rhett Flatt revealed they tipped in accordance with the contract. Charles and Erica told them they didn’t need to tip anymore, causing the small tip. Find out what the pair have to say and for more.

The saga from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 continues…

Charles and Erica returned to Below Deck Sailing Yacht for another charter season. This caused a strong reaction among fans and chief stew Daisy Kelliher. Charles claimed the producers told him to make inappropriate about the food. Now, the couple is apologizing for their behavior on the Parsifal III.

Erica took to Twitter to issue an apology. She apologized “for those I offended” on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The Bachelor alum says she’s been “reflecting and digging dip” during this time. Erica wants to become a role model for her daughter.

Charles got most of the backlash. He was slammed for calling the food “disgusting” and said he had “better at a ballpark.” Also, he made misogynistic comments about chief stew Daisy Kelliher. During their charter, he also called Rhett’s wife a “b****.”

The couple also shared a TikTok video apologizing for their behavior. They lip-synced along to a song by Akon called “Blame It On Me.” It’s unclear whether the couple is really accepting responsibility or they just think this video is funny. Some fans may find their apology video bizarre.

The lyric still threw shade at the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew. The two emphasized the “Things they won’t take accountability for,” along with Erica’s body language. It didn’t feel like a sincere apology. Erica reposted the video on Instagram, along with a caption thanking their followers, which they called the “#rosefam.” Check out their apology video for yourself here.

Fighting back at the haters

Erica also had some choice words for the haters. She told them to “kiss her a**.” At the same time the couple issued an apology to the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew, they took it back already. As far as the tipping controversy goes, there is still confusion among the charter guests.

Janelle and Rhett said they gave the tip money to Erica. Fans have shown their support for the “real MVPs” of the charter. However, Erica thinks she and Charles should get credit for having everyone talking about this season. What are your thoughts on Erica and Charles’ apology? Do you think it’s genuine?
