WWE Smackdown 3/25: 3 Must-See Moments, Full Results
WWE Wrestlemania 38 is just one week away with the superstars of Friday Night Smackdown on high alert. WWE Smackdown continued the Road to Wrestlemania with Brock Lesnar sending a threatening message to Roman Reigns. Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey engaged in another war of words. Here are three must-see moments from WWE Smackdown plus full results from the show.
WWE Smackdown: 3 Must-See Moments
Brock’s Brutality
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have been at each other’s throats since WWE Summerslam. With the feud set to culminate in one week at Wrestlemania, WWE Smackdown was the host to the latest game of cat and mouse. Lesnar arrived at the area and was quickly informed that he could not touch Reigns without being physically provoked. Lesnar camped out in the backstage area, making it clear that he wasn’t going anywhere.
As Friday Night Smackdown came to a close, Reigns and The Bloodline came to the ring surrounded by bodyguards. Reigns taunted Lesnar who soon came from out of the crowd to the ringside area. The Bloodline quickly rushed to the back as Lesnar beat down the entire security team with a steel chair.
Ronda’s War of Words
Ronda Rousey made her WWE return at the Royal Rumble and won her right to main event Wrestlemania. Since then, Charlotte Flair has been a thorn in her side. The former UFC and WWE Women’s Champion has found herself in the main event of night 1 of Wrestlemania, much to the chagrin of Charlotte. Two weeks ago on WWE Smackdown, Charlotte beat Rousey down on in the parking lot of the area. Rousey attempted to call out the Smackdown Women’s Champion, however, Charlotte was only avlaible via satellite. The two got into a heated exchange, with Rousey vowing to win the title at Wrestlemania.
Well Deserved HOF
Shad Gaspard in the HOF
On May 17, 2020, former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspar died while swimming with his son in the Venice Beach neighborhood near Angeles. Shad instructed lifeguards to save his son while being caught in a rip current leading to his death. As part of the WWE Hall of Fame next weekend, Gaspard was officially announced as this year’s Warrior Award recipient.
