Might another Bringing Up Bates star be engaged soon? Fans think they’ve discovered a hint that one of the Bates kids is planning to pop the question in the near future if they haven’t already.
Fans are often on the lookout for courtship, engagement, wedding, and pregnancy hints from the Bates family. With 19 kids, one of Kelly and Gil Bates’ children is always doing something. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if another proposal is coming very soon.

Currently, there’s only one known relationship in the Bates family. Trace Bates is courting Lydia Romeike. The duo has been Instagram official for a little while now, and fans already love the pair together.
One wedding is in the works. Lawson Bates and his fiancée, Tiffany Espensen, will be getting married in May.
Fans have been wondering if Jackson Bates might end up courting Johannah Duggar soon, but it’s all speculation at this point. For now, Bringing Up Bates fans are focusing on another possible upcoming proposal. Who could it be?
Bringing Up Bates fans discover a hint about a possible engagement.
On her Instagram stories, Trace’s girlfriend, Lydia Romeike, shared a snap from Lawson and Tiffany’s wedding shower. Along with the photo, she wrote, “So excited for you two!” She also tagged the bride and groom-to-be.
Then, Tiffany shared the post on her Instagram stories, which you can see below. While sharing the photo, Tiffany wrote, “Awww we’re excited for YOU TWO.”
It’s unclear why Tiffany would say she was excited for Trace and Lydia if they weren’t already engaged.
Over on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, a fan submitted a confession, speculating, “I wonder if that means Trace has proposed or is about to propose.”
In the comments section of the post, other fans are chiming into the conversation. One fan says, “I thought the same when she posted it.”
Another Bringing Up Bates fan adds, “It’s about time. Been thinking it’s overdue.”
It may not be much longer until Trace and Lydia are engaged. So, fans should be on the lookout for a big announcement soon.
