Former Bachelorette star shares dating tips with Drew Barrymore
Tayshia Adams was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this week. While on the show, she answered the “million-dollar question” about her future with The Bachelor franchise.
She also shared her expertise in dating with the E.T. actress. In a game called “Drew or Don’t,” Adams answered dating scenarios posed by the host.
Should you Instagram-stalk your date before meeting? Both Tayshia and Drew called that a “Drew.” The former Bachelorette star joked that it’s the best way to eliminate dating serial killers.
The pair also agreed that mentioning your ex on a first date is a no-no.
Neither were interested in dating someone 10 years younger. Drew Barrymore pointed out that people “learn so much in 10 years.”
Tayshia Adams was on the show to promote her new partnership with British beauty brand No7. She recently shared on her Instagram about her solo trip to London, England.
On the Drew Show, she recounted forgetting her skin moisturizer back home and discovering the No7 brand. If she’s the new brand ambassador for the beauty line, what does that mean for her future with the ABC dating show?
Tayshia Adams taking a ‘pause’ from Bachelor Nation
Tayshia Adams has a lot of irons in the fire. In addition to her new brand ambassador job, she’s also co-hosting E! News Daily Pop for the next week.
She addressed her status with the Bachelor franchise on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“Will you ever return to The Bachelorette?” Drew asked Tayshia. The reality star responded with uncertainty. She explained that the ABC show has taken up a lot of her ‘me time’ in the last four years.
In addition to co-hosting Seasons 17 and 18 with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Tayshia Adams replaced Clare Crawley as the Season 16 lead. While she initially found love with Zac Clark, the two split within a year of their engagement.
Us Weekly reports that Tayshia Adams confirmed to Drew Barrymore that she’s taking a “pause” from Bachelor Nation.
How does she feel about losing The Bachelorette hosting gig to Jesse Palmer?
Tayshia taking a break from the franchise coincides with the announcement of a new host for Season 19 of The Bachelorette. Jesse Palmer will take the reigns from Kaitlyn and Tayshia. He previously hosted Season 26 of The Bachelor.
While Bristowe was seemingly blindsided by the news, Adams is taking it in stride. In fact, she seemed relieved about the break. She told Drew Barrymore that she’s “ready for the next thing.”
