Bringing Up Bates fans know that the family celebrates “I Love You Day” with a themed costume party. This year, the theme was bible characters. Costumes were optional, but one couple that chose to partake is Lawson and Tiffany. They decided to dress up as Pharaoh and his daughter for the occasion. However, the relationship between the two bible characters has gotten fans talking.
A confession on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page is all about Tiffany Espensen and Lawson Bates’ costume choices for “I Love You Day.”
The fan wrote:
“Tiffany and Lawson as Pharaoh and his daughter is a strange character choice! It just feels very incestuous for a couple and quite inappropriate considering that the bible is full of couples they could have chosen!”
They continue, calling it a “bizarre choice.”
Other fans are agreeing with the statement. One thinks there’s another reason that Lawson chose these characters. The fan said, “Lawson just wanted to bring a ruler… he’s so full of himself.”
Another fan chimes in, “I was shocked too! So weird.”
Someone else says, “Yes… I totally agree. This is just weird.”
