Is this longtime Vanderpump Rules star headlining their own spinoff? Read on to find out what’s behind the latest rumors about the Bravo show.

Fate of long-running Bravo show in question

Bravo show Vanderpump Rules went through some major cast changes between Seasons 8 and 9. OGs Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired for racially insensitive behavior.

Love-him-or-hate-him villain Jax Taylor and his wife Brittany Cartwright left the show to focus on their growing family.

Many fans think the ratings for Season 9 went down due to the multiple exits. As a result, the future of the show is in jeopardy. Bravo has yet to officially reveal if the show will return for Season 10, but that doesn’t stop the rumors. A previous rumor speculated that Taylor, Schroeder, and Doute could return.

Blind item teases Vanderpump Rules star headlining spinoff

Original SURver Scheana Shay has said she’s open to a spinoff starring her and her fiance Brock Davies. If there is a Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, it could potentially show the couple’s wedding.

News that Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz called it quits after 12 years together has the rumor mill churning once again. Their weddings – plural! – were featured on Seasons 5 and 8 of Vanderpump Rules.

(Schwartz misplaced the original marriage license, so they had a second wedding in Vegas.)

The latest rumor speculates that Lala Kent could potentially be the center of a spinoff. A blind item from Instagram gossip site @deuxmoi teased the news.

“Word on the street is that this popular Bravo spinoff is getting the axe, despite two main characters splitting,” the blind item said, referencing Tom and Katie’s divorce.

The spy continued, “But due to another network crossover, they’ve learned that it’s smart to play one character on a new show — still in planning mode, but the lead atm is a certain mistress (new mom) done wrong,”

The mistress/new mom is a clear reference to Lala Kent, as Heavy notes. Her relationship with now-ex Randall Emmett started off on a questionable note, as he was still married to actress Ambry Childers at the time.

In October, photos hit the internet that appeared to be Randall Emmett stepping out on Lala with multiple women. Since then, more allegations have surfaced.

Kent ended their engagement and is struggling to co-parent daughter Ocean with her ex.

She’s also been outspoken about the demise of their relationship. The film producer has mostly kept his silence, though he recently spoke out.

So, fresh off a breakup, Lala Kent would have more than enough content to headline her own spinoff.

Lala Kent’s daughter Ocean hits huge milestone

Lala Kent welcomed her first child with Randall Emmett in March of 2021. He has two other children from his previous marriage.

While the former couple struggles to communicate, both are committed to raising Ocean together. In fact, the Vanderpump Rules star just shared Ocean reaching a huge milestone.

The wholesome clip posted on Kent’s Instagram Stories shows Ocean taking her very confident first steps. “My baby has officially walked,” she wrote on the video.
